Welcome to my WIKI!!  My classes will use this site as a discussion page for novels, biographies, and short stories to be read this school year as well as science activities.  Parents are invited to view the site as well.  

A little about me...

I teach 8th grade science and language arts.  I am looking forward to working with all of you and I know it will be a GREAT year!  :)

My husband David and I have been married for 16 years.  We have two sons, Daniel and Patrick, and one cat named Brownie.  I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Rockville, Maryland.  I have lived in Hickory for 19 years.  I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 1989 and have been teaching for 21 years.  I have been teaching at Northview since we opened the school in 2000.

I attend Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where I teach Sunday School and children's choir.  I love to read books (obviously), travel, cook, run, and just spend time with my family.
